Chilton Room

Two special rooms at the Harraseeket Inn have been furnished by Chilton Furniture, a family-owned wood furniture business based in Freeport and Scarborough, Maine. Room 238 has been furnished with pieces from Chilton's Acadia Live Edge Collection, an original collection designed and produced in Maine. These pieces were inspired by mid-century designer, George Nakashima. Room 240 has been furnished with pieces from Chilton's original MS1 Bedroom Collection. This collection speaks of both traditional Shaker simplicity and modern Scandinavian casual style.

Each room also features a Nautilus Lounge Chair, a Chilton original design and a 2020 Good Design Award recipient from the Chicago Atheneum.
